Luya is a district of the province of Luya in the Amazonas Region of Peru. Luya offers several attractive places for tourists like ruins of the culture Chachapoya and beautiful waterfalls. Hiring a donkey is the best way to get around the area.[1]
Luya borders the Lamud District, Trita District and St Kitts District in the north; the Chachapoyas District in the east; the Lonya Chico District in the south and the districts of Luya Viejo District and Santa Catalina to the west.
