The text is almost identical to the Hangzhou Bay Bridge, cites no sourses and seems quite political and biased. --Bollweevil 11:06, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

The controversy section is obviously totally inadequate. Just look at the wording, using weasel words like "HEAVILY criticised" or "by the public and scholars alike". A personal and unfounded statement - I suggest removal, as there are no sources on the web supporting such a claim. Tang Wenlong (talk) 01:40, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Agreed. Unless the section's author comes with more concrete data on "controversy", this section should be removed. As for the very existence of controversy, of course the project provoked controversy: which large public project didn't? This is not an information per se. --bonzi (talk) 18:10, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
