How can there be no mention of the 1981 terrorist attack against the Air National Guard station at the airport? As I recall it is still the worst loss of aircraft by the US Air Force in a single incident since the Vietnam War.

[edit] How many passengers does it handle?

I'm sure its over 10 million

PRPA Web site officialy says it was 10.6 million. I have updated the page to reflect this.

I don't see it...

I have updated this page several instances, but it gets deleted over and over again, returning to previous versions. The official number would still be 10.6M passengers in '05. - M_Gonzalez

[edit] This ain't the only international airport in PR

Rafael Hernandez(Aguadilla) is international and I think Mercedita(Ponce) is international too

none of the airports above mentioned are international. They both serve flights to and from the U.S. and to the rest of the caribbean.

Serving the other Caribbean islands makes it an international airport and if you go to the LMM International Airport website it says that the Rafael Hernandez airport is also international.--BoricuaPR 22:49, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Destinations/flights

There are direct flights to El Dorado International(Bogota Colombia)and I'm pretty sure there are more to many other cities not listed...--BoricuaPR 22:53, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

  • There are no non-stop flights to Chicago/Midway, Bogota, Las Vegas, Port Au Prince or San Jose (CR). American flies to both Hartford and LAX and both are already listed. Kimmykun 07:21, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

I'm really sure there are non-stop flights to Bogotá.Are you sure about the others?--BoricuaPR 22:37, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

  • There are no non-stops to South America other than Caracas. And I am sure about all of them. Kimmykun 03:22, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] American Airlines service to/from SJU

I've checked with both the AA timetable and the oneworld timetable. Both indicate NONE of these services will end, but rather be reduced. For example, American's service to MCO will be halved from four flights to two...how's that ending the service?
