Louisiana Highway 447 (LA 447) is a state highway in Louisiana that serves Livingston Parish. It spans 20.40 miles in a south to north direction. It is known locally as Walker Road North & Walker Road South (in relation to Interstate 12).
[edit] Route description
From the south, LA 447 begins near at an intersection with LA 16 in Port Vincent. It heads north to Walker and intersects I-12 at a diamond interchange (Exit 15). Continuing north through downtown Walker, it crosses US 190 and LA 1027. Maintaining a northerly trajectory through west-central Livingston Parish, LA 447 crosses LA 1029, LA 1025, LA 1024, and LA 1019 before ending at an intersection with LA 63 in the very northern portion of the parish.
LA 447 is an undivided, two-lane highway from LA 16 to I-12. From that point until just north of LA 1027, it is a five-lane highway (with a middle turning lane). After that, it reverts to an undivided, two-lane highway until its terminus at LA 63.
