[edit] When/why did she change her name?

I have two of her early books - Crow's Black Joy and 1980's Humans and Other Beasts - published under the name Lorna Uher. By 1983 (when I first studied her work in school) she was Lorna Crozier. So presumably she changed her name between 1980 and 1983. Does anyone know exactly when and why she changed her name? Was Uher a married name and she divorced? 23skidoo 20:15, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

Acccording to abcbookworld, "She ceased using her married name Lorna Uher for publication, reclaiming family's surname Crozier, after meeting Lane and co-publishing No Longer Two People and publishing Humans and Other Beasts." Victoriagirl 21:10, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Review comments

Some suggestions for improvement as the article is expanded:

  • Appropriate infobox should be added
  • Photograph should be added from a source with a free license
  • Basic biographical information required, including dates for positions held
  • Article needs expanding and should emphasise reasons for notability of subject
  • After expansion, main body of article should be divided into appropriate subheadings
  • Information on works should be expanded, eg themes, style, critical reception, and references are required
  • References should be added, preferably in the inline format
  • External links to useful online resources should be added if available
