All-Ireland JF champions in 1937. Womens Junior F 1997. Vocational F finalists in 1976 and 1984. National Football League: 1966. Div 2 Football in 1937. Leinster SF: 1968. Finalists in 1965. Semi-finalists 8 times (last in 1988). MF: 1929, 1938. O'Byrne Cup F in 1965 and 2003.

"It was their only Leinster title, and it came two years after a great victory over Galway by nine points to eight in the National League final." If Longford won the Leinster title in 1968 and the article says that they beat Galway in the league two years beforehand, as in 1966, should the article change its dates from 1996 to 1966?
