Route 430 was introduced on 23 November 2002 to replace the withdrawn section of route 74 between Roehampton & Putney. The route runs from Putney Garage using Volvo B7TL / Wright Eclipse Gemini (WVL).
Route 430 was extended to South Kensington on 13 January 2007, to create new links in preparation for the Western Extension of the congestion charge.
