This neighbourhood, is not located outside of Tijuana, it is located behind the airport of Tijuana, and it is not dangerous, i have been there a few times and it is like other regular neighbourhoods in Mexico.
Lomas Taurinas is a neighborhood outside of Tijuana. It is known as one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Mexico. It is also notorious as the place where presidential candidate Luis Donaldo Colosio was assassinated while on his campaign tour. There is a statue there and a plaza named after him.
