[edit] Highland Valley Copper Mine

This needs its own article; I can provide stunning orbital shots from NASA/JPL that show the scar of the mine; at first I thought it was an oblong cloud then I realized it was in all the images.....another mine in the same general to note needing an artice Giant Mascot Mine.....like so many others....Skookum1 (talk) 03:31, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Former company town?

IIRC this was originaly a company town, only later incorporatred, as with Tumbler Ridge and a few others. It's not a company town any longer, so like Kimberley and Trail and Tumbler Ridge it falls in a grey area - incorporated, but really a company town. Not sure what to cat this as; maybe there sholud be Category:Former company towns in Canada??Skookum1 (talk) 03:31, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
