Logan Couture (born March 28, 1989 in London, Ontario)[1][2], is a junior ice hockey player who currently plays for the Ottawa 67's of the OHL, who drafted him 12th overall in the 2005 OHL draft. He was first supposed to be the Oshawa Generals choice, first overall, but Oshawa selected 14-year old John Tavares instead.[3] He was drafted by the San Jose Sharks 9th overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. [4] Logan is the grandson of former musician Bob Couture.

Logan Couture was added to the OHL roster for the 2006 ADT Canada-Russia Challenge, replacing Jordan Staal, who successfully made the Pittsburgh Penguins. [5] In 2007, he was selected to play for the Eastern Conference in the OHL All-Star Game.[6] He also won the shooting accuracy competition. [6]
