Where did you find information regarding a movie version? I looked and am a little surprised for a movie that is suppose to be out in less than a year I can't find a single thing. -anon.

There is no film version being made. It's not listed anywhere. I fixed the page.

[edit] Expand

This article could be expanded quite heavily. It might be pertinent to note more about the father, Matt Roloff, and his filmography. I heard he was one of those little furry guys in Star Wars. Not a Wars fan, can't remember the name, sorry. --jeff

  • He was an Ewok in Return of the Jedi. --cholmes75 03:22, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
    • Oops, scratch that. It was the Battle for Endor TV show. --cholmes75 03:25, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
      • Good job on the expansion. --Sirveaux 19:44, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
        • Thanks. Hopefully the article now avoids any potential copyvio problems. I hope to locate a fair use image for the infobox before too long. --cholmes75 20:19, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Unoriginal material

This is basically a carbon copy of the TLC article describing the show at TLC, so it should probably be reworded and cited. Swakeman 22:27, 7 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Images

I've written to TLC in the hopes of getting permission to use some images associated with the show. Don't wanna run afoul of any copyright issues.  : ) --cholmes75 20:14, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

  • FYI, I still haven't heard back from anyone. --cholmes75 (chit chat) 15:28, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

Good show. Cute 1 4 u

I enjoy it, but they seem like an ordinary enough family I sometimes feeling occasionally bad. If they were crazy or famous I could understand, or just not care, why they'd let themselves be on TV. However why an ordinary family much like any other I know would want to be on TV is a little baffling to me. I understand that there's a purpose, helping people relate to those different in size or whatever, and as I'm 3 foot 5 I understand that fairly well. Still I have a more withdrawing personality and I think at some point I'd just say "I've shown what needed to be shown and now I want the cameras off." Still it's their life and I think they're show has done some good. (Note I'm aware this isn't an editing tip, but give me time. I do watch this show and as mentioned I'm of small stature)--T. Anthony 15:15, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Jacob's accident

Apparently Jacob was involved in a pretty serious accident over the weekend, and was taken to a local hospital. A few people have mentioned it, but the problem is that this article is more about the actual TV show than the Roloff family. Therefore unless a connection to the actual show can be made, this information doesn't really belong. --cholmes75 (chit chat) 22:16, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

  • Well it looks like the info can go back, since TLC aired a brief interview last night with Matt and Amy, talking about the accident. --cholmes75 (chit chat) 17:42, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Money?

Why would the mom need a job? aren't they making a killing off this? they better or the disruption to their lives is not worth it.

To me it seems like they have fairly high overhead. Running a farm with amusements, several cars, etc I think could be expensive. Plus they seem to be fairly devoted parents so their kids go to good schools by the sounds of it. That can get pricey. Plus the show, at first anyway, was dealing with them before they were well-known in their own right. (I mean they were well-known in dwarf-circles for years, but not to the general public until more recently) The end of last season, and start of this one, seems to be hinting a bit at the fact that the sucess of the show is influencing their own life rather than just reflecting a bit of it. Hence they have to deal with more reporters and visitors than they once did. The upside being it might be more profitable for them now and the Dad seems to no longer need the tech job. (As for the Mom her kids are old enough I could see just wanting to have a part-time job)--T. Anthony 20:43, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Abnormal Height

Why is Molly described as abnormal height? It sounds much more degrading then above average, and continuity would say that if Jacob is average height, then Molly being above average would fit. --Puckeater8 02:45, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

The article was vandalized for a few moments. I think you caught it during that time. She should be listed as of average height. Tony Fox (arf!) 03:00, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

Hey I changed Zach's height - he is a friend of mine and he's grown a lot this year - he is now taller than Amy. An example of this is his LP friend Jen is 4'1 and Zach is a few inches taller (check her myspace for proof). :)

[edit] Matt Roloff DUI

Please note that as of right now, this article is not the proper place for the details of Matt Roloff's DUI arrest in June. That's because this article focuses on the TV show and not the personal lives of the Roloff family. The exception is if something in their personal lives is shown on the program. The DUI information is in the Matt Roloff article. I have had to undo the addition of the DUI information a number of times already on this article, and will do so until we have information that it will be covered on the show. --cholmes75 (chit chat) 20:54, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

I just saw the previews for the next seasons, and it looks like they are going to cover Matt's DUI. Claystorm (talk) 02:18, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

  • Yup, saw the same thing. Looks like they'll preview it next week and go in depth for the next season. --cholmes75 (chit chat) 04:58, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Opening Sentences

Does the iTunes download statement really need to be in the opening statement, let alone the article? Josborne2382 07:23, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Matt is not guilty. I believe Matt not do bad things just like DUI.

[edit] Opening theme

Has anyone noticed that Molly and Jacob are featured a lot less in the opening credits than they once was, and that there screen time is a lot less. They also don't have any "interview" (Where they would talk directly to the camera) or "voice over" time they once had. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.43.65.245 (talk) 03:46, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] LITTLE PEOPLE BIG WORLD LEAVING THE AIR????????????????????

I read somewhere that Little People Big World is going off the air after the 4th season. Can anyone confirm this or is it just a rumor? --Chrismaster1 (talk) 23:33, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] William "Bill" Brogden

I know nothing about this topic but can I suggest that someone investigates this odd-sounding addition about "William 'Bill' Brogden" by Special:Contributions/Ryguy2303 (apparently also using IP Special:Contributions/68.5.188.156). (Note that the majority of edits from Ryguy2303 are vandalism of one other article.) Open4D (talk) 17:56, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
