[edit] Factual errors.

This page is one of the most inaccurate Wikipedia pages I've ever seen. First off, by looking on the searchable database of Gold and Platinum albums at riaa.com, I see that Lita has only one Platinum album (Lita), and it isn't multi-platinum. Her other albums didn't even achieve Gold status and didn't gain much attention. She did have two certified singles off that album. Her albums Stilletto and Dangerous Curves was released on RCA, not Spitfire. That label later reissued the albums, since RCA no longer was interested in keeping them in print. Spitfire Records didn't even exist in 1991. The label is largely home to once popular artists and newer artists.

Also, a brief section on the Runaways should be included on this page.

[edit] Plagiarism.

AllMusic.com should at least be cited as a reference, since some of the wording is lifted verbatim from the site. http://allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll -- Kevin Browning 08:34, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

WHO THE HELL VANDILIZED THIS PAGE? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.22.24.154 (talk) 18:31, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] I will clean up this page

Anyone have any useful sources? I've checked the RIAA site which will give her certified albums in the USA but other than that no idea what to do. (The Elfoid (talk) 18:55, 3 January 2008 (UTC))

those links at the top of the table WERE correct but idk if they r now yeah she only came out w/ 6 studio albums. lita is platinum. and she only had 4 charting singles so yeah its def not right now. ha —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.175.138.207 (talk) 01:58, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism?

The chart positions and certifications are constantly being changed by some anonymous users (actually it seems to be always the same person with a dynamic IP address). Someone please check those numbers as they look inconsistent. --Calavera (talk) 01:53, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Grammar and sentence structure!!

Has anyone noticed that there are many sentence fragments starting with "And", as well as use of very informal or loosely put-together language? Maybe even some excessively short sentences? Examples:

"Ford toured a lot..."

"With Sharon Osbourne as her manager, and again produced by herself...."

"Her first two releases were hard rock and loud. And Ford did not look like a pop star. With this album she had a so called popish look and was pop rock instead of hard rock. And was also half naked in the videos of Kiss Me Deadly and Falling In and Out of Love. She also did stripper like dances, unlike her first two albums. Many fans called her a sell-out, but many people liked the new sound and look."

The rest of the biography section is less than stellar in writing quality. I would edit it, except due to already-existing complaints of lack of factuality, I don't see the value in using elegant phrasing to present false information. I also lack the time and dedication to do the necessary research. So the least I can do is complain about the problem. :)
