St. Sylvester's College is not a privet school by any means. please remove that from the privet school list and add it to government section —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.43.129.112 (talk) 09:30, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Adding new schools to the list
These are major cities of Sri Lanka please add schools around that city and no those in the district and when moving schools from one category to another please delete the name from the old category.
Also dont add dead links (links to pages not created yet) lets keep this page clean.Nitraven 12:38, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Private schools
Private schools are schools that are registered with/under the ministry of education and follow the local curriculum including AL's and OL's. These schools are Bilingual Medium as they teach in both Sinhala and English some in Tamil also, hence there are no English Medium Private Schools or Bilingual Medium Private Schools only private schools. The following schools;
- Ceylinco Sussex College Network
- Minhal Boys' School, Kotahena
- Vajira College, Colombo
- Vidura College, Colombo
will fall under the Category Exceptions as they are registered under the Board of Investment (BOI) and not under ministry of education. If any one wants to contest this please provide credible references to prove otherwise.Nitraven 05:37, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
Except for Vajira College, else are taught is enlgish medium and none of the are registered under BOI. Plz move back the contetnts. —Preceding unsigned comment added by InduUS (talk • contribs) 20:15, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
Will move back the contents if credible sources are sighted for this claim. Until such time these 4 schools will remain under the ExceptionsNitraven (talk) 03:23, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
