I propose we maintain an alphabetical list of rivers here. Besides that we can make a list of rivers organised by tributaries, as Olivier has started to do. I propose we do that organised by place of confluence (starting from the mouth of the river), just like in the List of rivers of Europe. Markussep 10:45, 7 Jan 2005 (UTC)

A labeled picture would be helpful. 71.174.177.225 (talk) 22:19, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] One to add

The Cenischia (its Italian name) should be added. I’d do it myself except that I don’t know whether it has a French name; also it falls within the Po basin. Quite possibly its the only French river whose waters are heading for the Adriatic, in which case it might be better to mention it as the odd river out rather than add a Po basin section. —Ian Spackman (talk) 04:34, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

At least two: the sources of the Dora Riparia are also on French soil. —Ian Spackman (talk) 05:31, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
