Andreas Baader, Gudrun Ensslin, Ulrike Meinhof, Holger Meins, and Jan Raspe- disputed, many argue they were assasinated by the state, effectively capital punishment. Some german federal counties threatened to secede whent the central government refused to properly investigate these death. Years ago an ex-german secret service agent disclosed they were in fact assasinated. I think Germany owes an official apology and fiscal compensation to their relatives.

I think this list is very poorly populated. Since I see this article had been nominated for deletion and subsequently kept, I will not nominate it, but I think it should be deleted anyway. The categories Category:People who died in prison custody and Category:People who died in police custody together give a MUCH more comprehensive overview of the topic in question... wjmt (talk) 21:51, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
