This article is utter madness, since only the Transuding Furies do not have an article of their own! Kusonaga 16:56, 28 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Anne Steele (Buffyverse)

I like this character, but come on, she has about five appearances and zero real-world notablity. Should she be merged into this page? Paul730 03:26, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

  • I'd have no objections. Merge.Kusonaga 04:48, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

I'll take it that nobody has any objections. I have performed the merge. Paul730 23:02, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:GwenRaiden.jpg

Image:GwenRaiden.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] One-off characters

I don't think they need to be covered here. It gets a little indiscriminate and redundant. If a character appears in only one episode, surely they can be covered at that episode's page. The only exception I can think of is the Immortal, since he has a significant role in Queen of the Slayers as well as his TV episode, and is referenced in Buffy Season 8 as well. Thoughts?  Paul  730 09:31, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Agreed. As long as the recur in some way, whether it's in multiple episodes of Angel, or in episodes of Buffy, or in the comics, books or wherever, they should go here. But any character that only appears in one episode, simply doesn't merit inclusion. Because if that's the bar, then every single character that ever showed up on the show should be included and that's clearly incorrect. -Chunky Rice (talk) 21:51, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Missing Characters

I'd still add Kate's dad and Lee Mercer (I think that's his name. He was the Wolfram and Hart employee who Holland had killed to scare Lindsey... or something... I kinda forget. It's been a while since I've seen that one.). They weren't in a lot of episodes, but I think their characters were important for the show. Kate's dad basically had his own episode and his death had a big effect on Kate's character.Kirby17 (talk) 05:08, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Senator Helen Brucker

Just me or does this depict Joss' opinion of Hillary for President? She's a Senator, white, female, who's running against a young male opponent who is taking away the popular female vote from her. And, I'm sure it's only coincidence, but she's killed by the African American, Charles Gunn. Just found that amusing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.168.107.119 (talk) 18:52, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

I'd say no, as Angel ended in May 2004 and Barack Obama did not even get elected to the Senate until November 2004. His candidacy for president was announced February 2007. Its a lie lah (talk) 06:12, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
