[edit] purpose of this article?

Anyone care to explain the purpose of this article? It looks like a random mish-mash of concepts from no particular area of law, and has no explanation or caveats. I added an intro but I have no idea if it reflects the real reason why this article exists. dr.ef.tymac 15:55, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

Yup, this page is a mess. This is so from the title onwards: should it in fact be renamed "List of legal concepts and principles," as per (what passes for) the lead? --jbmurray (talkcontribs) 13:56, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
