Is there scope for highlighting the irony of Tom Good inventing the home income plan in his proposal to the bank manager in the final episode, When I'm 65? In the 1970s it was a crazy idea because the housing market was sane, today it's the other way around! -- Alan Peakall 00:28, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

I've added it in. It's certainly quite funny watching the bank manager asking the price of Tom's house, which would now be probably be worth at least £300,000, and saying the bank wouldn't get the money back. --Berks105 10:25, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Link

At the top of this page it says: "The following is a list of episodes for the British sitcom The Good Life that aired from 1975 to 1978". For the episode "The Weaker Sex?" in "Series One (1975)" it says "Guest starring Paul McDowell". If you click the link "Paul McDowell" you get a page saying "Paul L. McDowell (born January 17, 1905 - died August 1962) was an American rower who competed in the 1928 Summer Olympics". He died 13 years before the show was made? 91.108.28.254 (talk) 08:00, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Just a wrong link. I've fixed it. Thanks for pointing this out! --UpDown (talk) 08:05, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
