Talk:List of Kill Bill characters
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
There is plenty of room in the Kill Bill article. This does not need to be addressed in a separate article. --Blanchardb-Me•MyEars•MyMouth-timed 04:14, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
- Considering how many characters there are, and how long the main article already is, and how much other editors will probably add to this list, I'd say it should be a separate entity. I think it's a good idea to have this as it is, especially as an alternative to a dozen articles on characters not nearly notable enough for their own pages, but I certainly wouldn't be strongly opposed to a merge. -- Mike (Kicking222) 04:48, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

- Currently the two articles concerned total about 39k in size, but this includes images, refs etc. which "don't count" as part of the description for "readable prose" - the main underlying criterion for questioning whether or not an article is too large. 40k is still Wiki's arbitrary guideline cut-off point, above which size authors may consider splitting an article. I support merging the articles as there is still leeway in terms of adding more info for those who feel the article warrants it. Even if the article eventually reaches (say) 42k it will still be okay in terms of size because we will have a definitive "Kill Bill" article rather than a more fractured series of articles.AirdishStraus (talk) 13:31, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
- Eh, then go for it. Like I said, I'm not that opposed to it- I'm just happy to not have individual articles for Johnny Mo and Rufus and all of these other characters that have three lines and appear on-screen for forty-five seconds. -- Mike (Kicking222) 16:53, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
