Talk:List of Kamen Rider Blade episodes

[edit] Previous Deletion
I realize that this page was deleted before for lack of content. I plan on adding episode summaries to this page shortly. I would prefer to go through the series again to refresh my memory so that there are accurate summaries. (Guyinblack25 19:05, 13 February 2007 (UTC))
[edit] Content
Regarding the extra content, I added it to make the list more comprehensive and improve its chances at Featured list candidacy. To be quite honest, the only thing left to do was to finish rewriting the episode summaries; I stopped watching at episode 33. (Guyinblack25 talk 20:49, 8 May 2008 (UTC))
- That extra content, as you put it, concerns
- The program's soundtrack
- The program's theatrical release
- The program's V-Cinema releases
- None of this concerns the episodes.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 20:23, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
- You don't even want to discuss this? What about the DVD releases? (Guyinblack25 talk 21:29, 17 May 2008 (UTC))
- All of the non-episode related information has been incorporated in the series' article.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 03:23, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
- Ryulong, I'm certain this issue can be discussed. I see no reason why the information previously in there can not stay. Movies and specials are related to the episodic content of this page, and the DVD releases directly pertained to the episodes as it provided some real-world content. The theme songs may have been a stretch, but I was using some other Featured lists of TV episodes as an example. Regarding your edit which removed the lead. Per Wikipedia:LIST#Lead section or paragraph and Wikipedia:Lead section, such pages should have a lead paragraph rather than a single sentence. I'm sorry that we've come to a disagreement, but this is not the best way to handle it. (Guyinblack25 talk 03:56, 20 May 2008 (UTC))
- How does a list of episodes need more of a lead than the series' name and its airing? All of the information that was there was already in the main article, or could have had a better place in the main article.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 04:19, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
- Per WP:LEAD, "The lead should be able to stand alone as a concise overview of the article. It should establish context, summarize the most important points, explain why the subject is interesting or notable, and briefly describe its notable controversies, if there are any." The previous lead gave context to a general leader by giving generic information about the production company, actors, air dates, etc. Essentially, it gave readers enough information without having to look at the main article and established the episodes list's notability.
- There is nothing in Wikipedia's policies and guidelines that states content cannot be duplicated. Generic information can be on related pages, and detailed information can be found on main pages. And regarding the DVD releases, I have heard no explanation as to why they were removed. I'm sure a reasonable solution can be reached, but we have to discuss the issues.
- The content you've added would be excellent additions to some of the previous content. As I've said before, I was prepping the page for WP:FLC. The main hurdle was the episode summaries. However, I'm sure between the two of us, we could get it ready. (Guyinblack25 talk 05:12, 20 May 2008 (UTC))
