Editing Guidelines Please remember these guidelines when editing a film article: If a non-film article already exists with the name of the film that you are trying to create an article for, disambiguate and use (film) in the title: Film Title (film) For more information see: Wikipedia:Naming conventions (films) When writing an article about a particular film, the general format should be a concise lead section, followed by a plot summary of no more than 900 words, production details, a cast list, a reception section, and references. Create an Infobox that tells all pertinent information about the film.

Are there any guidelines in place specifying which actors (and more importantly, how many actors) should be included under the "Cast" category for the film lists? Killjoy966 02:25, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

Keep it sensible, Two or three lines at most but it depends on the extend of the cast. The most important thing is that info is filled in ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ ^{"Expecting you?" Contribs} 20:30, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

I don't really understand these lists. They haven't been filtered in any way. Someone has gone to great trouble to produce these lists of American films for each year, but haven't removed the non-American ones, and there are hundreds of them. What sources are being used to define these as American films? And is anyone ever going to make sure these lists are just American films, and not just a complete hotchpotch as they are at the moment? 86.153.23.21 (talk) 15:58, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
