The following is a list of various characters in the fictional universe of the anime and manga series Sgt. Frog and related works.

[edit] Keroro Platoon
- Sergeant Keroro
The idiotic leader of the Keroro Platoon. He carries haunting memories in his childhood as a leader of a false Keroro Platoon and sergeant in-training. His stupidity and love of Gunplas, anime, and manga proves itself as a weakness, but they can awake the Keroro back when he was still strong.
- Corporal Giroro
Second in command and Corporal of the Keroro Platoon. Giroro's history in war left him with a scar and weapon belt in memory of his killed friends. Giroro loves Natsumi Hinata and he would attack anyone who harms her. His weapon expertise and power makes him a powerful member of the platoon.
- Lance Corporal Dororo/Zeroro
Third in command of the Keroro Platoon. Often ignored, Zeroro later became a Keron army assassin. He crashed on Earth in a kappa trap until rescued and befriended by the kunoichi Koyuki. He learned the ways of the ninja and was renamed Dororo. His ninja and assassin skills make him a welcomed yet ignored member of the Keroro Platoon.
- Private Second Class Tamama
The adorable yet powerful idolizer of Keroro. Tamama, unlike most of the other members of Keroro Platoon, relies on pure energy in battle. He despises Mois due to her love for Keroro and trains hard until the day comes when he defeats her and gains Keroro's affection. His split personality makes him one the Keroro Platoon's secret weapons.
- Sergeant Major Kururu
The brain of the Keroro Platoon. Kururu never fights but orchestrates battle strategies and makes inventions that often lead the Keroro Platoon to victory. Hated as a problem but admired as the highest ranking member of the Keroro Platoon. Sometimes called Kululu in the english manga.

- First Lieutenant/Lieutenant Garuru
The powerful leader of the Garuru Platoon as well as Giroro's older brother. He seemingly killed Giroro until Giroro defeated him. He returned and encountered Giroro Double. After the Keroro Platoon Double's death, he visited the Keroro Platoon with a salute and left Earth, promising to see them again.
- Superior Private/Private First Class Taruru
The former childhood friend and apprentice of Karara and Tamama. He seemingly killed Tamama, until later defeated by him. He returned and got defeated by Tamama Double. He visited the Keroro Platoon again after that.
- Recruit/Private Second Class Tororo
The hacker of the Garuru Platoon. He captured the allies of the Keroro Platoon until the computers were damaged by Dororo. He later destroyed the entire Keroro Platoon Double. He then visited the real platoon in un-wanted honor.
- Lance Corporal Zoruru
The former partner of Dororo until he was seemingly killed and became a cyborg. He captured the allies of the Keroro Platoon until embarrassed to be forgotten by Dororo. He was defeated by Dororo Double and visited the Keroro Platoon in honor. Also known to have worked with Keroro, Giroro and Dororo/Zeroro prior to the Earth invasion.
- Chief Medic Pururu
The former academy graduated with Keroro, Giroro, and Dororo. She appeared as chief medic of the Garuru Platoon and got defeated by Keroro Double. She visited the Keroro Platoon and became romantically linked to Keroro (possibly leading to Tamama rivaling her).

- Sergeant Keroro Double
The leader of the Keroro Platoon Double who originally had no interest in Gunplas. He was later reprogrammed to be obsessed with Gunplas and defeated Pururu. He was soon destroyed by Tororo.
- Corporal Giroro Double
The corporal clone of Giroro. He easily defeated Garuru by destroying his GLL Sniper Rifle. He was soon destroyed by Tororo.
- Private Second Class Tamama Double
The clone of Tamama. He defeated Taruru easily with stolen snacks. He was soon destroyed by Tororo.
- Sergeant Major Kururu Double
The clone of Kururu. He encountered Tororo who was driven by revenge. Tororo destroyed Kururu Double with the Garuru Platoon Battleship's laser cannon along with the rest of the Keroro Platoon Double.
- Lance Corporal Dororo Double
The clone of Dororo. He encountered and evaded all of Zoruru's attacks. He was soon destroyed by Tororo.

- Toriri
An owl-like Keronian. He joined Keroro's alliance during the fight against the Black Stars.
- Saruru
A monkey-like Keronian. She joined Keroro's alliance during the fight against the Black Stars.
- Inunu
A dog-like Keronian. He joined Keroro's alliance during the fight against the Black Stars.
- Aruru
A Keronian nurse. She joined Giroro's alliance during the fight against the Black Stars.
- Mukaka
A short-tempered Keronian. She joined Giroro's alliance during the fight against the Black Stars.

- Demon Sergeant Voiced by: Kenichi Ogata
The father of Keroro. He is idolized as the highest ranked member of the Keron Army. He is both idolized and feared by his beloved son. He frequently appears on vacation. He saved the Keroro Platoon by giving Viper a Parents Day message from his parents, revealing he was as weak and idiotic as his son. He revealed that Giroro's father, the Demon Sergeant's friend was also visiting and left with a photo of himself and Giroro's father.
- Karara
The famous daughter of Dobaba and lover of the Keroro Platoon. She is often put in danger until rescued by members of the Keroro Platoon. She appeared with her childhood friend, Taruru until Taruru joined the Garuru Platoon and was replaced by Karara's best friend, Chiroro.
- Chiroro
The best friend of Karara. She befriends Viper who helps rescue Karara from Keroro in a Viper Pekopon suit. She re-appeared visiting Giroro but have to stop the rampage of 723 who shrinked by laughing after Karara and Chiroro hit their heads together.
- Dobaba Voiced by: Hidekatsu Shibata
The famous father of Karara and Chiroro. He demanded marriage for Karara who left for Earth. He hunted her down and prepared to capture her until she escaped with Tamama while Dobaba never appear again.
- Giroro's personalities
- Dororo's Mother
A blue Keronian like her son. She may look weak as she is wearing a mask, but she is actually a skilled fighter that can knock down machines with pans.
- Mushishi Voiced by: Shōzō Iizuka
Mushishi is a blue-green elder Keronian who was once known as the assassin, "Insect User Mushishi." He appears in episode 181 to help Keroro in a mission involving insects. He carries a bug-catching net and a pouch as well as a green bucket on top of his head that he also keeps bugs in.
- Kiruru.
The son of Kiruru and Mirara. He feeds on negative energy. He saved the world by convincing the whole army to forgive Keroro Platoon.
- Super Elite Urere
A highly ranked Keronian soldier who once assisted the Keroro Platoon in conquering Earth. He is purple. His helmet has headphones with a microphone attached. His symbol is a downward/upward explanasion-points. He rarely blinks.
- Robobo Fukusocho
A robot substitute for Kururu. He was made from silver metal. He has rectangle-shaped magnet feet and has cresent magnets for hands. His symbol is a black dot with golden tracings.
- Rirara
A Keronian kunoichi. She is yellow. She wields a shuriken with a string through it and a summoning scroll. Her helmet has two ribbons. Her symbol is a crescent moon.
- Gitata
A Keronian guitarist. He is yellow. He plays an electric guitar. He has a mustache in the shape of lightning bolts. His symbol is a red guitar pick.
- Hanana
Hanana is a kind-hearted flower Keronian. She is a pink Keronian. She has a point above her mouth. She wears a large blue and orange flower on her helmet. Her tadpole tail is a leaf. Her symbol is a flower bud. She has one-sided love for Giruru. Her name trives from the Japanese word Hana, which means Flower.
- Gururu
Gururu is a green cow boy Keronian. He has a rope tied from his shoulder to his waist. He wear boots and a hat. His symbol is a Texan star.
- Gororo
Gororo is a yellow criminalised Keronian. He has yellow and black side burns. He has a lightning bolt across his chest and eyes. He commonly holds sticks of dynamite and panels of elctricity. His symbol is a lightning bolt.
- Eruru
Eruru is an orange intelligent female Keronian. She wears glasses and a barra and commonly carries a pen and notebook. Her symbol is an upward rectangle with a triangle on top.
[edit] Earthlings/Pekoponians
- Fuyuki Hinata
The main human character. His paranormal knowledge is very useful to the Keroro Platoon. He is often interested in adventures yet has no athletic skills.
- Natsumi Hinata
The powerful older sister of Fuyuki. She is rivaled by Keroro and is in love with Mutsumi. She is loved by Giroro and Koyuki. Her powerful strength makes her a very welcomed member to the Keroro Platoon.
- Aki Hinata Voiced by: Akiko Hiramatsu
The single mother of Fuyuki and Natsumi. Despite her fear of animals, she feels as though the Keroro Platoon is her own family. She is a manga editor who often helps the Keroro Platoon on animation missions.
- Momoka Nishizawa
The multi-billonaire lover of Fuyuki. Her love of Fuyuki will drive her to do anything to gain his affection. She fights in battle armors and has a split personality much like her pet and friend, Tamama.
- Paul Moriyama Voiced by: Keiji Fujiwara
The butler of Momoka. As the butler and idolizer of Momoka, Paul does everything in his power to make her happy and protect her. He also idolizes Tamama who he spars with, resulting in Tamama often being defeated.
- Mutsumi Saburo/Hojo
The classmate and love interest of Natsumi. He runs his own radio station (cancelled in the manga) and own a pen from his partner, Kururu that causes anything he draws to become real. He is also rivaled by Giroro. Mutsumi's abilities make him a powerful addition to the Keroro Platoon.
- Koyuki Azumaya
The kunoichi partner and rescuer of Dororo. While moving to the city, she quickly befriends Natsumi who she trusts to help her in city life.

- Chiruyo Tsukigami Voiced by: Chinami Nishimura
A young, rare class-mate of Fuyuki. Like Momoka, she has a crush on Fuyuki.
- Neko Voiced by: Asuka Tanii
Giroro's pet cat that he first found in the rain. She accompanies Giroro in his tent. She loves Giroro from then on and rivals Natsumi because of it. She sometimes unknowingly turns into human using one of Kururu's inventions. She quickly becomes Giroro's friend and became his pet after the Garuru Platoon's departure.
- Akina Hinata Voiced by: Hisako Kyōda
The grandmother of Fuyuki and Natsumi. She, like Fuyuki, believes in paranormal activity in the form of forest spirits.
- Baio Nishizawa Voiced by: Shūichi Ikeda
The father of Momoka. Baio trusts his daughter's happiness due to him living out of state.
- Melody Honey Voiced by: Megumi Toyoguchi
A famous pop star from America. She likes all kinds of jokes, even the boring ones.
- Ghost Voiced by: Chie Matsu'ura
A ghost living in Keroro's room. Aki bought the house for a low price because of that. She was imprisoned because she hid a Keronian (thought to have been a Kappa) with similar characteristic as Keroro. She was later rescued by that Keronian and died when she was 90 years old. In volume 14 she introduced herself as "Omiyo" to Momoka after she turned herself into a ghost to get closer to Fuyuki.
- Ouka Nishizawa Voiced by: Yoshiko Sakakibara
Momoka's Mother and Baio's wife. She has amazing fighting skills. She encountered Baio as her finalist opponent during a martial arts tournament. After the battle, the two fell in love, married, and had Momoka. When Momoka matured, Ouka had left the mansion to Momoka. She returns during Mother's Day and her abilities were tested. Much like her daughter, Ouka has both a violent and gentle personality. Her gentle personality occurs when she is treated with love and she loses her violent outlook.

- Mirara
The capturer of Kiruru. She can absorb positive energy and turns into a key that can seal Kiruru away.
- Kiruru
The main villain of the first movie. He feeds on negative energy. He was sealed away with Mirara in tower form.

Maru is a "childhood friend" and assistant of Meru. They have been together for as long as they can remember.
[edit] Chibi Kero: Secret of the Kero Ball
- Shupepe
A young male Keronian who is with Kururu when he finds the Kero Ball outside of Chibi Kero's hideout. He is a grayish-purple in color, wears a periwinkle hat, and has a bandage over his nose. Shupepe wears blue-rimmed headphones similar to those that Kururu wears as an adult. His symbol is a bandage that is blue on his belly and white on his hat. He is voiced by an uncredited child fan.
- Rinono
A young female Keronian who is also with Kururu when he finds the Kero Ball. She is pale orange in color, wears a pink hat with a red bow on the right side. Her symbol is a bow that is orange on her belly and light pink on her hat. She and Shupepe leave Kururu behind when he becomes more interested in the Kero Ball. She is voiced by an uncredited child fan.

- Meruru
Appears in the third movie. She was released from imprisonment alongside her friend, Nazca, whom she resembles.
- Shadow Keroro
The main villain of the third movie. He is an exact replication of Keroro. However, his true identity and species is unconformed.
- Shivava
A villain of the third movie. He is partnered with Shadow Keroro and Doruru. He is the rival of Tamama throughout the movie. His true identity and species is unconfirmed.
- Doruru
A villain of the third movie. He is partnered with Shadow Keroro and Shivava. He is the rival of Giroro throughout the movie. He appears to be a clone of Giroro. His true identity and species is unconfirmed.

- Angol Mois
The niece-figure and lover of Keroro. She is the King of Terror who delayed arriving to Earth. She lives with the Hinata's and is rivaled by Tamama.
- 556 (Kogoro) Voiced by: Nobuyuki Hiyama
He is a poor space detective. He has only earned 100 yen in Earth with his detective skills. He laughs all the time no matter how he feels, but only his sister Rabi can understand the true feeling of 556. "Kogoro" comes from a Japanese wordplay of "556".
- Lavie Voiced by: Tomoko Kaneda
556's sweet natured younger sister who wears rabbit ears. Because 556 never gets any work, she supports by working various part-time jobs. There is a character from the anime Mado King Granzort with the same name and is a long ears race person(presuming that she's kind of a reference to him) who is a primary character in the Granzort Series.
- Sumomo
She is the pop singer of the space. She can even change her form into human.
- King of Terror Voiced by: Nobuaki Kakuda
The father of Mois. Like his daughter, he is very kind hearted until he is called to destroy Earth.
- Mois' Mother
Although she is not an heir of King of Terror, she got the power to punish planets. At the end of Manga Volume 13, it was revealed that Mois' mother was the main reason why dinosaurs became extinct on Earth.
- Nyororo
A yellow space plant that loves humidity. It loves to absorb the humidity of any super wet objects (or aliens). Keroro is always sucked by Nyororos every time he gets super humid. However, some aliens use Nyororo as a reducing-weight tool.
- Nyororo Ω
A brown monster with many tentacles. The Garuru Platoon used them as weapons in the invasion of Earth. This kind of Nyororo doesn't seem to have the ability to absorb humidity.
- Space Pizza FX
A Japanese pizza with legs and eyes. Either you eat it or it eats you. According to Keroro, this dish is one of the favorites of Tamama.
- Space Octopus
A yellow octopus that has a big eye. It is commonly used to save someone drowned.
- Space Cerberus
A giant monster with 3 heads and the ability to recover itself. Its liver is said to be able to heal anyone from any diseases. Giroro once fought one to get its liver so he can save Natsumi.
- Viper
An evil cobra-like alien. He was seemingly killed until returning as Mecha Viper who assisted Dororo in saving Karara from Keroro in a Viper Pekopon Suit. He later returned as Mecha Viper R who turned the Keroro Platoon into statues until receiving a Parents Day message from Keroro father and flew off to his parents.
- Cool Big Brother Viper
The older brother of Viper. He kidnapped the Keroro Platoon and was defeated by Dororo. He soon enlarged itself but he was scared off by a larger Keroro due to the Flash Spoon.
- Viper (Relative)
One of the relative of the defeated Viper. He formed a group of Vipers and stole a ring which is the clue of treasure. He was later captured by Jessica.
- Viper (Former Pirate)
A kind Viper that Keroro, Giroro and Zeroro met when they were young. He gave clues of the hidden treasure in a deserted planet to Keroro.
- 3M and R Grey
They are the MC's of a popular show. They once visited the Earth, but they were soon attacked by Giroro, who mistaked them as the imposters.
- Jessica
A Space Policewoman. She gets a purple hair which is different from Poyon. She is also much faster than Poyon. With the help of Keroro Platoon, she was able to capture the wanted Viper.
- Poyon
One of the Space Policewomen. She always shows up just before Keroro Platoon successfully conquered Earth every time. It’s revealed that Poyan is her subordinate.
- Poyan
One of the Space Policewomen. She is currently stationing at the Aliens Street to prevent any human realizing the existence of aliens.
- Alisa Southerncross
A young girl that comes from the Darkness. She hunts aliens so she can become a human. She can change her ear (which is actually her "daddy") into anything. Her eyes can petrify anyone who looks at her eyes.
- Banana Slug
A giant animal that can feed itself by eating the banana from the banana trees grown on its back. It is also one of the biggest fears of Keroro, as he can't resist stepping on the banana peel after a banana slug has eaten a banana.
- Dasonu Maso (ダソヌ☆マソ?)
An impostor of Dance Man, a popular singer who wears an afro too. The afro of Dasonu Maso can reflect any attacks. Whenever the concert ticket of Dasonu Maso is torn, Dansou Maso himself will be summoned. He can also fire laser beam from his glasses to give an afro hairstyle to whomever it hits. The only way to damage him is to use scissors to cut his afro or sing better than him.
- Dasonu Mari
The younger sister of Dasonu Maso. She learnt that Keroro Platoon is a team full of comedians from Dasonu Maso so she went to observe Keroro Platoon. Keroro, who was trying to prove her wrong, started invasion immediately, but they all failed in comedic ways.
- Female Geronian
One of the Geronian living in Earth. She worships the God of Geronian in a temple. After Keroro Platoon used the statue to earn money for invasion, she called Poyon to settle the problem and earned back all the money Keroro Platoon got.
- Prisoner #303
An evil alien that likes to possess the others body and eat as many as he can. According to the Space Law, the possessed one is responsible for paying the economical loss caused by 303.
- Space Kumiko Watanabe
The voice actress of Space Captain Geroro. She was often seen in scenes with a lot of aliens.
- Super Dali
A kind of tiny invader. Super Dali love to invade unhealthy teeth and build a headquarters on them. Keroro's molar was once invaded by Super Dali.
- Kujo
A young girl who Fuyuki befriends. She reveals she will soon disappear if Kalong is destroyed. With an out of Kalong is destroyed, she disappears with the memories of Fuyuki.
- Kalong
Kujo's alternate existence that rampages the city. He befriends the Keroro Platoon until losing control and going on another rampage. He transforms into a large star and just before Giroro and Dororo performed their most powerful techniques, Kalong disappears along with Kujo.
- ZZZ (Lt. Zezeze Tototoso)
A gigantic invader which is 2000 cm tall. Any planets targeted by him have no chances to survive from his mad collecting habit. As he was moving to Earth, all aliens except Keroro Platoon left the Earth. Keroro Platoon attempted to fight him but get beaten and forced to return to the Earth. At the same time, Angol Mois found an ancient weapon in Aliens Street. Keroro Platoon, with their human partners and some aliens led by the Space Police used it to fight ZZZ but failed to damage him even with the attack from Garuru Platoon. Angol Mois dropped a space banana peel and Keroro went to step on it and the peel flew to ZZZ's feet. ZZZ slipped and was defeated when he flew to the Sun caused by the slip.
- Nonteruma (ノンテルマ?)
These are what Keroro's grandfather used to refer to earthlings. They were actually creatures at the bottom of the ocean and rule the ocean. The Keroro Platoon met them when they were in the ocean. Only two had been seen up close; the others were just red lights from afar the two that were seen were an ancient white shark with red eyes in its mouth and a mermaid who Fuyuki befriended.
