This is a list of Pashto language poets.
- Amir Karor - The first documented Pushtu poet;
- Bait Neka one of Pushtu's mystical poets, whose poems are in pure Pushtu with no borrowed word of any other language;
- Khushal Khan Khattak - The warrior poet;
- Ahmad Shah Abdali - author of a collection of odes in Pashto
- Rahman Baba - The "nightingale of Peshawar"
- Ameer Hamza Shinwari. He stands on a par with Khushal Khan Khattak and Rahman Baba.
