Like a Version

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Like a Version is a segment on the Australian radio station Triple J. Originally a part of the Mel in the Mornings show, hosted by Mel Bampton. Currently the segment pops up whenever artists are available and willing to do it, though mainly on the Breakfast show. It involves Australian, and more recently, international artists playing live, acoustic versions of some of their favourite songs. This segment's popularity has led to the release of three compilation CDs.

The title is an obvious parody of "Like a Virgin".
