[edit] Traits - Have your cake and eat it too?
How exactly is it that the list of traits contains both "Diplomatic / compromising, however possibly manipulative" and "Gullible / influenceable"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.32.46.88 (talk) 17:46, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Neutrality
I've given this article, along with others on astrological signs, a POV tag because it portrays beliefs held by astrologers as if they were facts
- Would an adequate solution be to add "According to astrology, ___" or "People who are Libras are believed to be ___" etc. to some of the paragraphs and statements? --Crisu 17:10, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
- It would be a start. The reason I didn't just do it myself is I wanted to start a discussion about the general tone of these articles. Lurker your words/my deeds 10:15, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
- See WP:NPOVFAQ#Making necessary assumptions. A link to astrology should be all that's necessary.
[edit] Notable people
Is there some definition of notable? I shudder every time I see Avril Lavignes named within that definition. 68.98.236.145 03:36, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
In case you're wondering what's happened to the Notable persons section, it has been deleted in favor of the page Category:Subjects of the Sign of Libra. If you want to add a notable person go there. --Carmelita 21:07, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Ummm...
Any reason why the physical descriptions of libras is almost exactly the same as the one for virgos? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.146.147.246 (talk) 06:58, 25 December 2006 (UTC). Because they are the same. Virgo and Libra almost have the same body types.
[edit] Tropical Zodiac Dates - Start and End
I'm pretty sure that Libra can be occupied by the sun at any time from September 23rd to October 23rd. Otherwise, we wouldn't have articles, books and magazines listing two different start and end dates. Personally, I'm convinced I'm a Libra, despite the fact that I was born on 9/23, since all of my natal charts list my sun as 00.57 degrees Libra. This may have to do with the fact that I was born on a leap year and also very late in the day. However, September 23 is still a possiblity for Libra and therefore it should be listed. I cited sources to back up my statements this time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Purrsian (talk • contribs) 02:00, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Tropical Zodiac Dates
The dates for the tropical zodiac are all wrong, or atleast for Libra (i've corrected them). The dates shown stated that Libra ran from September 25th to October 22nd. If that were the case, I would be a Virgo, and according to almost all sources and charts I'm a Libra (I was born on September 24th). According to several sites, books, and charts, Libra begins on September 24th and ends on October 23rd. With that said, all of the dates for other signs may be suspect and I advise revision on all of them.
[edit] Compatibility
This Zodiac article lacks a list of compatible star signs~ Can anyone provide them? 144.132.35.195 08:44, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

- (I'm gonna cross-post this): there is absolutely no need to have a "notable persons" section. What about cuspers (people born between two signs), what would they be? If they went under both that'd take up more space. You can't list EVERY single person ever born under one sign. If you want to know what a famous person's zodiac sign or birthday is, just look up their separate article on Wikipedia. If they are famous, they should be on Wikipedia. So yeah, I'm taking out the notable persons section and I'm warning people not to readd it. 75.4.241.193 02:59, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Negative Personality Traits
As I've just now noted, this section needs a citation; I'm having difficulty seeing how being "persuasive" is a negative -- the same can be said for "analytical," which was just replaced in a recent edit. DagnyB 00:39, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
- I thought the same. But, I'm working on something else, right now, so didn't do anything about it. Like you, I thought, hmmmm. - Jeeny Talk 00:47, 8 May 2007 (UTC)whats up with the whole frivolous concept? any ways its all in your perspective of persuasive, relative to your situation.depends on what your trying pesuade someone to do etc.Marsyeti1 01:14, 27 July 2007 (UTC)marsyeti1

[edit] References Gone
Around May 5-9, 2008, the References section was removed, but the footnotes remain. A references should be re-added for sections that still exist.
