Liberals and Christians

Liberals and Christians (Liberali e Cristiani) is a faction within the Union of Christian and Centre Democrats (UDC).

It was founded in February 2008 as a continuation of the "Liberal Clubs" by some members of Forza Italia who decided to switch to UDC because of their opposition to the creation of the People of Freedom. They included Ferdinando Adornato (ex-PCI, ex-AD), Angelo Sanza (ex-DC) and Maria Burani.
