I believe you mistakenly created a page named Geoda. I have replaced it with a redirect to GeoDA. Madlobster 08:18, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
I apologize for interfering with your editing of GeoDA. I should have realized that you were still in the middle of work on it. I think the correct place for the article is GeoDA. GeoDA (computer program) should be left as a redirect, and the other article you can put a db tag in double brackets at the top and request deletion as the author. I hope I didn't delete too much material trying to move things. Apologies again! --Brianyoumans 08:22, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Local Indicators of Spatial Association
Hi. Just a note. It was not the right thing to add a link to Local Indicators of Spatial Association at the very top of Lisa, since while this method may be interesting, it is not as relevant as other entries in that list. I moved it down. I hope that's fine with you. Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 00:00, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Soapbox
Dear Luis,
Geoda is obviously well worth it's own entry in Wikipedia. However, it is not customary for people thoroughly involved in a project to write such an entry themselves (see WP:NOT#SOAPBOX). I have therefore ventured to remove some parts of the Geoda article which I believed to be adapted to a manual or a publicity brochure.
A lot more information on spatial econometrics is definitely needed. I noticed basic references (contiguity matrixes, spatial error models) have not been covered yet. They all deserve separate articles, and your help in creating them would be greatly appreciated. Classical geographer 14:01, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
