Leonhard Lechner

Leon(h)ard Lechner (c. 1553, Tyrol - 1606, Stuttgart) was a German composer and music editor who worked with Orlando de Lassus.

Lechner's exact place of birth is unknown. The by-name he occasionally used, "Athesinus", refers to origins in the Adige Valley in what is now the Italian province of Bolzano-Bozen.
