[edit] Spellings
I dropped by to mention that colour should not be forked. Per WP:MOS, we realize that different readers prefer different spellings But ultimately, we all need to work together to improve the same version of the page, and ultimately, that means settling on a spelling, and stop arguing over it and move on to improving the article. Wikipedia doesn't prefer one spelling over the other, but it is generally unproductive to switch the spellings back and forth. --Interiot 01:58, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- Please don't change spellings between varieties of English when there is not a clear reason to do so. See Wikipedia:Manual of Style#National varieties of English for the relevant guidelines, and see Wikipedia:Lamest edit wars#Spelling for where such unidirectional editing ends up. [edit] Indoor Football
There is a link for other uses of Indoor Football. Do not vandalize this article. P.S. English is also a language, not just a country.LightningOffense 23:08, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Indoor American Football
I have proposed Indoor American Football for deletion using the {{prod}} template because it is a POV fork of Indoor football. I suggest you consider what BanyanTree said above, particularly with regard to National varieties of English on the English Wikipedia. Please try to work with other editors and follow the established guidelines with regards to language and spelling instead of waging a one-person campaign to "anglicize" the wiki. heqs 14:40, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
