Lenín Voltaire Moreno Garcés (b. 19 March 1953, in Nuevo Rocafuerte in the province of Orellana) has been the Vice-President of Ecuador since 15 January 2007. He and Rafael Correa were elected on 26 November 2006 during the 2006 general election.
He uses a wheelchair since taking a gunshot wound to his back in a 1998 robbery attempt.
