[edit] Photo of La-7

The photo shows La-7 not La-5.

[edit] 262 shootdown

Which one shot the 262 down, La-5 or La-7? It is credited to both planes, despite that only one was shot down by Soviets.

The La-7 is a refinement of the La-5, and therefore, the author found it fitting to add info on the La-7 under the La-5... Confusing.

[edit] Which variant arrived late March 1943?

In late March 1943, a mock dogfight was held between a recent Lavochkin and two Lend-Lease fighter types. The US and UK types fared quite well. Which Lavochkin variant took part in this display? The story here says it was a LaGG-3, but the timing seems wrong to me. Binksternet (talk) 21:55, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
