Laurence T. Bliss is a former head coach of the Army (1893) and Lehigh University (1895) college football program.

Bliss took his first college football head coaching job at West Point and led the team to 4 wins and 5 losses. He was the third person appointed to the position of head football coach at West Point. The season included losses to Navy and to Lehigh University where he would coach in two years.[1]

Bliss was the fourth head football coach for the Lehigh Mountain Hawks in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and he held that position for the 1895 season. His overall coaching record at Lehigh was 3 wins, 6 losses, and 0 ties. This ranks him 24th at Lehigh in terms of total wins and 21st at Lehigh in terms of winning percentage.[2]
