Latin American Poker Tour

The Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT) started in May 2008, is a major poker tour in Latin America. The LAPT is sponsored by PokerStars, like its counterpart the European Poker Tour (2004) and the Asia Pacific Poker Tour (2007).[1]
In it's first year, the LAPT is being held in three Latin American Countries, they are:
- LAPT Rio de Janeiro in Brazil on May 3-5, 2008
- LAPT San José in Costa Rica on May 22-24, 2008
- LAPT Punta del Este in Uruguay on August 7-9, 2008
