[edit] Electric Piano

A few things: A full discography can be found at All Music Guide. However, their biography doesn't offer up much.

Also, I read somewhere that Larry Harlow was the first person to play electric piano on a recording. I'm not sure if that's right, so if someone could check that, it would add a lot to the article. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mr. RX99 (talk • contribs) 01:10, 7 March 2007 (UTC).

  • That's right my friend, the story goes like this... Larry Harlow meets Chick Corea for the second time at the Plugged Nickel of Chicago in 1965.... They had met years before at the Newport Jazz Fest where by chance started conversation about the endless line... they were serving draft beer... shrimp sandwiches... spicy chicken... water... tomato juice... hot dogs and carbon burgers... and straight water... THE 2nd TIME... they meet it was Chicago... Larry had driven from NY and Chick had taken the bus from MASS... its there where they find out they both are keyboard players.. talks about new technologies and stuff including the new Moog modular synthesizer... next day they drive back to ny... Larry tells chick to come see it and stay in his apartment... it goes like that and that is it... after the event Larry invites Chick to eat at Adelas in Avenue C (Evil Snakes (talk) 03:46, 26 November 2007 (UTC))

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:LHarlow.jpg

Image:LHarlow.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
