So if Bundestag is "Federal Diet", Reichstag is the "Imperial Diet", isn't Landtag "Provincial Diet" or "State Diet"? or is it "State Assembly"? Gryffindor 13:57, 24 January 2006 (UTC)

In Germany the officiall name of a Landtag is Landesparlament, which means state parliament in English, so you can say that Landtag is a Provincial Diet. User:GermanTiuri 08:47, 06 July 2007 (MESZ)

Just a note, both Finland and Sweden (Swedish Pomerania) have also had Landtags at some point in time. This should be added to the article. -Yupik 10:21, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
