[edit] Bridge images

A Geograph user has pictures of the canal's bridges 14 to 32. Would it be overkill to put them all in a gallery in the article? - Dudesleeper / Talk 16:46, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

Yes it would be, I think. One or two representative pictures of bridges, embedded in the article text, is sufficient for illustrative purposes (see Wikipedia:Images#Image_choice_and_placement. What you could do, however, is upload them to Wikimedia Commons, create a gallery or category there, and link it from the article. The templates {{commons}}, {{commonscat}} or {{commonsimages}} can be used for this purpose. --Blisco (talk) 09:24, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
