Lalit Kala Akademi

The Lalit Kala Akademi is India's National Academy of Art. Founded shortly after India became independent, its mission is to support fine arts in India. It does so through providing scholarships, a fellow program, and sponsoring and organizing numerous exhibitions in India and overseas. It is funded by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, and is an autonomous organization.
