Lakewood Village is located at 33°8′28″N, 96°58′13″W (33.141210, -96.970346)[3].

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.7 square miles (1.9 km²), of which, 0.7 square miles (1.9 km²) of it is land and 1.35% is water.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 342 people, 117 households, and 104 families residing in the city. The population density was 465.4 people per square mile (180.9/km²). There were 123 housing units at an average density of 167.4/sq mi (65.1/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 95.61% White, 2.34% African American, 1.17% from other races, and 0.88% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.09% of the population.

There were 117 households out of which 42.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 77.8% were married couples living together, 6.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 11.1% were non-families. 5.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 1.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.92 and the average family size was 3.02.

In the city the population was spread out with 29.2% under the age of 18, 4.1% from 18 to 24, 32.5% from 25 to 44, 26.6% from 45 to 64, and 7.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females there were 113.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 105.1 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $66,667, and the median income for a family was $56,875. Males had a median income of $50,278 versus $28,438 for females. The per capita income for the city was $22,899. None of the families and 1.6% of the population were living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and none of those over 64.
