[edit] Deletion of articles, and wikipedia policies and guidelines
Hi Laialiramm!
I noticed you created some articles, which have been deleted, and showed your dissatisfaction about that on the deleting administrators userpage. First I would like to explain a little about Wikipedias criteria for inclusion. Although anyone can edit Wikipedia, not everything has a place on wikipedia. It is an online encyclopdedia, which is a lot of things, but there are a lot of things that it is not. For a list of things it is not please see WP:NOT. We require for example that everything on wikipedia is verifiable (see WP:V), and as a tertiary source should not contain original research (see WP:NOR). The articles you have created have no independent reliable sources to back them up, and seem to constitute to original research, which is why they were deleted.
Secondly, I would like to warn you about our strict policy on personal attacks. Here on Wikipedia, we deal with each other in a civil way, and we don't make personal attacks (WP:CIV and WP:NPA). Your edit here is uncivil, and clearly a personal attack, and if you continue that behaviour, you will be blocked from editing.
You are welcome to make constructive edits to Wikipedia, and I hope you stick around, and work constructively to expanding the encyclopedia. If you have any questions, you can always ask me, at the helpdesk, or maybe it is a good idea to get a mentor. Either way, I hope you can find your way on Wikipedia! [edit] Plastic surgery controversies
Hi Laialiramm, I'm glad you made the topic "Why is plastic surgery bad", but as you can see above it's got various problems with it. The topic itself is a notable one, but the title and contents have to be the type of thing you would find in an encyclopedia. I suggest you take some time and find some related articles. These are a good start.
- How cosmetic surgery can go wrong Daily Mail newspaper
- Teenagers and Cosmetic Surgery - The F-Word
- After Cosmetic Surgery, the 'Do Over' New York Times Newspaper
Then perhaps you could create an articles called Plastic surgery controversies, I recommend reading Wikipedia:Your_first_article first, as this will likely be helpful. SunCreator (talk) 16:14, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] What is rhinoplasty
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article What is rhinoplasty, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
