LAB (band)

LAB is an alternative rock band from Helsinki, Finland. They gained worldwide notoriety because their single "Beat the Boys" was featured prominently in the PS2/Xbox/PC game "Flatout".

The band formed originally in 1997, and consists on 5 members. Singer Ana and guitarist Johannes are siblings.

Little has been known from the band since their third studio album, "Where Heaven Ends" saw the light, as their official website had not been updated at all.
In the meantime, LAB did 2 German Tours with Xandria and Zeraphine (other bands) and they expect to be back on the road in Germany by the end of 2008 to promote their upcoming studio album because they had moderate success in that country.
The band is right now working on their 4th studio album, to be released on autumn, 2008. Some member changes will be announced shortly as well on their website.
