La Ville-du-Bois is a commune in the southern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 40 km. (25 miles) from the center of Paris.

At the 1999 census, the population was 5,901. The estimate for 2006 was 6,825.
Inhabitants of La Ville-du-Bois are known as Urbisylvains.

Constantine Andreou, the Greek painter, once lived in La Ville-du-Bois. In 1999, the town's library was named in honor of Andreou.[1]
