[edit] Professional career
Fans' thoughts on Harris are mixed, though with a decidedly negative slant. Harris is many 49ers fans' favorite whipping boy, with many fans complaining especially about his holding penalties. On the other hand, some fans point out that Harris' numbers have improved: In 2006 Harris played in 16 games and had one false start, three holding penalties, and 8.5 sacks allowed, as compared to 2005 where he also played 16 games and gave up seven false starts, two holding penalties, and 9.5 sacks[1].
