KTJJ is a radio station broadcasting from Farmington, Missouri. They have a very powerful signal, heard from Jefferson City to south-eastern Illinois from west to east, & St. Louis to the Missouri-Arkansas border from north to south.
[edit] Programming
They play some Country Music, with a more music driven format at night and overnights.
KTJJ airs local news during morning drive, again at noon, and during afternoon drive at 5 and 6 on weekdays; The news also continues on weekends, and coupled with sports and weather, runs about 30 minutes. They also feature local high school and college sports games.
The station was recently sold to GoodRadio LLC, based in Tampa FL, as part of a sale of the Shepard Radio Group for some 30.6 million dollars. Industry observers think at some point the station will be aimed more at the Suburban St. Louis ADI, and perhaps have its studios moved to Festus, about 30 minutes from St. Louis.
