[edit] History

The 105.9 frequency was previously an Regional Mexican format station called "Radio Tricolor 105.9". Prior to that it was a Spanish Adult Contemporary format called "Radio Romantica" from 1996-2002. In the 1980s it was a top 40 station called "Q 106" as KNMQ-FM. In 1990 it changed to a country music format as KOLT-FM "Kolt 106". It briefly shifted to a classic country format in 1996 called "Krazy 105.9" with the present day call letters until the Fall of that year when the station was sold to Spanish language broadcaster EXCL Communications which Entravision took over in 2000.
