KQLX-FM (106.1 FM) is a radio station licensed to serve Lisbon, North Dakota. The station is owned by Sheyenne Valley Broadcasting, Inc. It airs a Country music format.[1]
The station was assigned the KQLX-FM call letters by the Federal Communications Commission on May 5, 1986.[2]
[edit] Construction permit
On April 29, 2005, the FCC granted KQLX-FM a construction permit to upgrade to a class C1 station with an increase in power to 100,000 watts and an antenna rise in height above average terrain to 217.8 meters (715 feet). The transmitter would also be relocated to 46°44'39"N, 97°25'38"W. This construction permit expires April 29, 2008.
