Here are some tips:

• Ask questions at the Village pump or Help desk.
• Be bold!
• Use the Show preview button
• Provide an Edit summary.

If you feel a change is needed, feel free to make it yourself! Wikipedia is a wiki, so anyone (yourself included) can edit any article by following the Edit this page link. Wikipedia convention is to be bold and not be afraid of making mistakes. If you're not sure how editing works, have a look at How to edit a page, or try out the Sandbox to test your editing skills.

If, for some reason, you are unable to fix a problem yourself, feel free to ask someone else to do it. Wikipedia has a vibrant community of contributors who have a wide range of skills and specialties, and many of them would be glad to help. As well as the wiki community pages there are IRC Channels, where you are more than welcome to ask for assistance. If you ever get bored, or don't know how to help, visit the ToDo List at Community Portal. There are millions of jobs to be done, article to be improved, written, deleted, images added or edited, and groups/clubs to join!

[edit] Duplicate images uploaded

Thanks for uploading Image:Vielha,June2007.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Vielha, June 2007.jpg. The copy called Image:Vielha, June 2007.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads.
