Kole Black is an African American author who writes in a style that can be compared to that of African American authors Zane or Eric Jerome Dickey, yet still maintaining the raw street elements of Donald Goins and Ice-Berg Slim.[citation needed]
Kole Black's first novel, released March 4, 2007, was entitled "The Chance She Took" ISBN 0615153488 published by Spaulden Publishing.
Kole Black's second novel entitled "The Risk of Chance" ISBN 978-0-6152-1505-1 was released on Tuesday May 26, 2008. The Risk of Chance received favorable reviews and was nominated for several literary awards.[citation needed]
