Spaulden Publishing is a mid-sized publisher located in Woodbury, CT. It's first author, Christina Sands finished her debut novel entitled "The After Party" which was released April 20, 2005 and received moderate reviews. In March of 2007 Spaulden Publishing released a novel by Kole Black entitled "The Chance She Took" which received great critical acclaim, as well as wildly favorable reviews by die hard fans of this genre of African American fiction known as urban fiction. Kole Black's novel "The Chance She Took" received the 2007 Urban Fiction Reader's Choice Award for "Best Fictional Storyline". >>>>>>> May 26th 2008 Spaulden Publishing released a second novel by Kole Black entitled, "The Risk of Chance".
