[edit] Contradiction

The article says that the airport closed due to lack of demand, however, it also says that it is not operational due to some bureaucratic dispute. Which is correct? If both, then this should be clarified. By the way, I haven't read the sources, which might shed light on the issue, but the article should be more clear nevertheless. -- Ynhockey (Talk) 12:42, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

Because of the relativly high price for a 25 min flight to Tel Aviv, almost nobody can afford it. The security costs of the airport building are around 30'000 NIS (7'000 US$) per month which should be paid (according to the municipality of Kiryat Shmona) by the flight operators, but the flight operators postulate it's the city's thing.
