Kingsbury is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Its Local Government Area is the City of Darebin. It was named after Bruce Kingsbury VC who died in Papua New Guinea during the Second World War.

The nearest train station is the Reservoir station on the Epping line. The suburb is also served by the 561 bus route from Macleod train station on the Hurstbridge line, and tram route 86 which runs between Docklands and Bundoora RMIT, which touches Kingsbury between stop 56-60. There is also the 566 bus route that runs through Kingsbury.

There are currently two Primary schools and a University in Kingsbury:Kingsbury Primary School (A Government Run School) , Our Lady of the Way Catholic Primary School (A Catholic School run by the Catholic Education office) and La trobe University. The nearest secondary school is Reservoir District Secondary College.Also secondary colleges around Kingsbury are: Macleod College,Parade College,Loyola,Viewbank and Our Lady of Mercy College. Kingsbury Technical school was a branch of Reservoir secondary college that used to provide education for residents in suburbs of Kingsbury. It closed down due to the poor number of students. The new building is currently located on Plenty Road. The land is now occupied by the Parkhaven Housing Estate.

According to the Census 2005, most of Kingsbury's population are Catholic. Our Lady of the Way Catholic Church is the local Religious Building for the suburb. For other religions, the nearest Buddhist Temple is Linh Son Buddhist Temple located on Radford Street Reservoir and the Muslim Mosque located in Thomastown.

Kingsbury is planning to construct a momument and Memorial of Bruce Kingsbury VC in one of the parks. They are still raising funds to do so.
